Sports Complex- Shahidan Lahouti
The sports complex (Shahidan Lahouti) was established in 2016 in Eastern Guilan Educational Complex with the purpose of holding nursing, midwifery and paramedical students' physical education units, sports competitions, and other athletic or recreation activities. In this regard, the complex benefits from a multi-purpose hall with an area of 1296 m2 and a standard sports field with a dimension of 40*20 m. The sports hall has dressing rooms for guests and hosts, a management room, bathrooms, an engine room, carpet flooring, and heating system. Aside from this sports complex, the male students’ dormitory has sports shed facility with various equipment such as fitness tools, foosball tables, table tennis tables, punching bags, and treadmills. The female students’ dormitory is equipped with treadmill, stationary bike, and foosball table.

List of competitions, festivals, and activities held by Shahidan Lahouti sports complex:
-National junior volleyball championship with the participation of 12 provinces.
-National Boxing competitions for youth with the participation of 16 provinces.
-Holding futsal competitions for employees of Guilan University of Medical Sciences with the participation of more than 50 teams of health centers, hospitals, and academic centers of medical sciences personnel.
- Organizing physical fitness competitions in two groups of males and females for all personnel of Guilan University of Medical Sciences.
-Holding a festival for Lanegroud universities’ students (with the participation of Islamic Azad University, Payame Noor University, University of Applied Sciences & Technology, Qadir Non-profit Higher Education Institute, and Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedical school of Langeroud)
-Organizing sports competitions in the fields of futsal, volleyball, table tennis, darts, foosbal, street football (“Gol Koochik” in Persian), track and field, tug of war, and air rifle shooting for male and female students and the personnel of the school.
-Conducting bodybuilding and physical fitness exercises for female students under the supervision of a trainer.
