The executive responsibility of the national registration program of drowning cases in Iran is the Guilan Road Trauma Research Center with the national focal point of the drowning program, led by Dr. Ali Davoudi-Kiakalaye, Ph.D. in Social Medicine and faculty member of the Department of Social Medicine, Guilan University of Medical Sciences, Rasht, Iran.
