According to (WEBDA), a meeting was held between Dr. Bahram Ainollahi, Minister of Health, Dr. Assadollah Abbasi, Governor of Guilan, Dr. Arsalan Salari, President of Guilan University of Medical Sciences, and Seyed Kazem Delkhosh Abatari, parlimant representative of Somesara on November 22.  

In this meeting, Gilan officials demanded the Minister of Health to pay special attention to the development of health infrastructure, treatment and equipment in the province.  

Issues such as requesting fund for completing public benefit projects in Guilan health sector, health transformation projects, funding the construction of  Poursina hospital, the completion of the medical school, construction of Razi and Shafa hospitals were discussed in the meeting. 

Other demands such as allocating MRI machines for educational and medical centers in Rasht and hospitals in the west and east of the province, equipping the province's hospitals with capital equipment and medical diagnosis were also talked about in the meeting.
